BREDJING REFUGEE CAMP, OUADDAI STATE, EASTERN CHAD. NOVEMBER 19 TO 21, 2004. Soudanese women, all refuge from Darfur, volunteer to take part in the polio immunization campaign in Bredjing refuge camp, in Chad. Over 35,000 Sudanese refugees from Sudan's Darfur region live in Bredjing camp. The clinic and health care is handled by the NGO Doctors without borders (MSF: Medecins sans Frontieres). MSF has organized 33 teams of vaccinator among the refugees, each with 2 men and 2 women. In 3 days, going from tent to tent, they will vaccinate over 7000 children under 5 years old..(Photo by Jean-Marc Giboux)
