ARUA , UGANDA, JULY 4, 2006 :  Rose Atibuni, Chairwoman and only living founding member of Nacwola ((National Commite of women living with Aids) in Arua, in her office in Arua,  Uganda on July 4, 2006. Nacwola is a support group for women living with Hiv by women. They promote support, visiting aids victims and community sensitivity to fight stigma and help Aids widows who often get rejected by the defunct husband family. Rose was tested positive for HIV in 1991 when she was married with 3 children. She lost her husband to the disease in 1992 and her youngest daughter too. She is a teacher and activist and recieved an award from Action Aid International for breaking the silence in the workplace.(Photo by Jean-Marc Giboux)
