PESHAWAR, PAKISTAN, NOVEMBER 7, 2001 : Polio immunization in the Turmen Camp, part of the old Jalozai afghan refugee camp during the National Immunization Days in Pakistan. Turkmen Camp is populated solely with refugees from northern Afghanistan of turkmen origins. It date back from the Soviet war. . Pakistan is one of the six remaining Polio endemic countries, where the populations at risk is unable to get basic health services because of isolation, neglect, civil strife or war.
